to
would like to say this just in passing, Hr. Briggs made a comment
that they wouldn't be in here if they weren't Castle Concrete.
And I think I have to agree with that, but I think Mr. Briggs and
maybe Castle has contributed to that state of affairs.
Z think that my preception is that they have leaned on
this inalienable right to mined that apparently Castle has. And
they have emphasized that, and they have used it, and I think
it's alienated the neighbors to the point there is almost
literally a shooting war going on down there.
And I think that not only has Castle Concrete
contributed to it, but I think the rest of the people we heard
from today; the neighbors, interested citizens, and county
commissioners have all contributed. I think--and may be we will
have some shots fired one of these days the way it's going I
certainly hope not.
I am very pleased of that the Governor has come up with
the idea of the commission to study the matter and come up with
some kind of way to settle it. Hopefully that will simmer things
down where we won't have this kind of thing.
ZO Every time Castle Concrete stubs their toe, we are--
they are going to be in here it takes up your time it takes up
22. everybody's time in Colorado Springs, and it doesn't contribute
anything to anybody. So hopefully things will be settled.
I have to agree with Terry's point of view.
HR. O'CONNOR: One final point I would like to make and
