PUBLIC NOTICE Oxbow Mining, LLC. (OMLLC), P.O. Box 535, 3737 Highway 133, Somerset, Colorado 81434, has filed a complete application to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS) for a Technical Revision (TR-56) to its existing approved Permit No. C-1981-022. This TR provides for 1) information regazding a modification to the mine plan for Federal Coal Lease COC 61357 and 2) the addition of 4 gob vent boreholes. OMLLC's approved permit area is located in Gunnison and Delta Counties and north of the town of Somerset and the North Fork of the Gunnison River. OMLLC's current permit azea would be included on the azeas presented by the Somerset and Bowie USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps and is generally described as follows: Township 12 South, Ranee 90 West, 6~' PM All or parts of Sections 29 - 32 Township 12 South, Ranee 91 West. 6`h PM All or parts of Sections 25 - 27 and 34 - 36 Township 13 South, Range 89 West, 6`h PM All or parts of Sections 6 and 7 Township 13 South, Ranee 90 West, 6`s PM All or parts of Sections 1 -12 and 17 Township 13 South, Range 91 West, 6"' PM All or parts of Sections 1- 3 and 11 - 13 The permit area contains approximately 13,180 acres of surface lands of which 5,551 acres aze located on private land and 7,629 acres are on Federal land. Complete copies of the TR-56 application aze on file at the CDRMS offices located at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, Phone:(303) 866-3567; at the Gunnison County Planning Office, Delta County Planning Office and at the Paonia Public Library. Comments or objections concerning the application for revision should be directed to the CDRMS at the above address not later than 10 days after the date of publication of this notice in order to be considered.
