Will
there be an artificial increase of the local groundwater table as a result of the
"lake;' thus creating a mounding ettect. This may lead to seepage and/or
flooding in subsurface structures such as basements and cellars.
How will the de-watering for the mining operations affect the private wells used
for lawn irrigation? There is concern of subsidence resulting form de-watering
the local groundwater table and hew it may affect the structural integrity of our
home.
We feel that proposed mining plan by Western Equipment & Truck, should be denied for
the above stated reasons. Additionally, as previously stated, we do not feel that there has
been adequate studies or invcstigutions completed regarding the affects of the localized
de-watering as part of the mining operations.
Ptease contact us at 970.587.219[ regarding the above stated conr:enc~.
Sinccrdy ~
/JG7
~L ~ ~." l
Alex Fischer and Annc Sha er
