9. Substance to Be Mined: Lyons Rockin' WP is an existing sand and gravel
operation on the St. Vrain Creek.
10. Type of Mining Operation: Surface mining
11. Depth of Excavation and Distance to Nearest Surface Water Flow: The
maximum depth of excavation will be on the order of
20-25 feet. The neazest flowing natural water source is
St. Vrain Creek. A minimum setback of 100 feet will be
maintained between the mine pits and St. Vrain Creek.
Where riparian habitat azeas occur along St. Vrain Creek.

undisturbed.

13. Total Number of Acres Disturbed: The total number of acres to be disturbed
will be approximately 478 acres.

approximately 30 years of mining. Final reclamation is
anticipated to require approximately 6 years.
