4. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CONTROLS
This section describes the stormwater quality controls for the Site.
4.1. SWMP Administrator
The SWMP Administrator is responsible for developing the SWMP and assisting the mine
operator in its implementation, maintenance, and revision- The SWMP Administrator is Matt
Collins, the Mine Manager. His contact information is the following:
Matt Collins, Mine Manager
Mount Royale Ventures, LLC
9145 Sunshine Canyon Drive
Boulder, CO 80302
Telephone: (720) 565-3448
Mobile: (303) 570-6269
Email: bringit@direcway_com
The SWMP Administrator or a person designated by the SWMP Administrator will perform the
site inspections described later in this document. At the discretion of the Mine Manager,
alternate persons may be designated SWMP Administrator and/or SWMP Inspectors.
4.2. Identification of Potential Pollutant Sonrces
The following are the major potential pollutant sources at the Site:
• Roadways and other disturbed areas
• Overburden stockpiles
• Waste rock stockpiles
• Ore stockpiles
• Tailings pond
• Mill processing chemicals
• Petroleum products
Roadways and other disturbed areas have the potential to be a source of total suspended solids
(TSS) in stormwater nmoff, particulazly because of the steepness of the Site. The stockpiles
listed above may also be sources of TSS; the ore and waste rock stockpiles may also be sources
of trace amounts of metals. There is no acid drainage at the Site_ The tailings pond is a closed
system that recycles water into the mill process. Mill processing chemicaLz and petroleum
products can be sources of chemical.contamination in stormwater.
J.'IMixsLSWMPIF.uIa-KingsLnrmp m 11-99 11
November 1, 1999
