The size of the disturbed azea is stated in Exhibit D -Mining Plan
under item A page 19 "Phase 1 will include 34.1 acres to be disturbed."
3) There will be no on site storage of fuels and oils.
4) After further consultation with Fred Cummings, Rangeland Management
Specialist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, it was
decided against mulching during the reclamation process.
5) As addressed in the enclosed letter from Fred Cummings, Rangeland
Specialist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, no fertilizer
will be used in the initial reclamation. However, if there is a major
problem with the growth of the grasses, a soil test will be done to see if
added nutrients aze needed to get the grasses started.
6) We prefer to drill the seed. If it is prohibitive in certain areas, seeding
will be done by hand broadcast at the recommended rate. (see enclosed _
letter)
7) After reviewing our reclamation plan, it was brought to our attention that
the area will be reclaimed to pasture land rather than rangeland. Fred
Cummings with the NRCS has extensive knowledge of this area.
Enclosed is the new seed mix that he recommends to work best on this
ground.
8) Please find enclosed a copy of Publisher's Affidavit and Proof of
Publication from the Herald Times;•the news paper that serves our area.
