Facilities and Mobile Equipment
Most facilities for the site will be located in or around the original pit. Secondary crushing,
screening, and washing of gravel will occur in the original pit area. Primary crushing will be
done in the Scott Expansion area. Material will be stockpile throughout the pit bottom at the
original pit. For jobs east along I-70, portable plants for asphalt, cement, crushing, screening,
and washing maybe brought in to supply this need. Also stockpiling may occur in the Scott
Expansion.
On-Site Facilities
Type Portable Notes
Crusher/Screen ~ Primary in Scott Expansion
Asphalt Plant ^ Primary plant at Chambers
Pit.
