:~
The current plant flow is approximately 14, 000 gpm. Once the temporary column skid is
placed, a connection will be made between the head column and the primary steel header feeding
the existing ADR columns. The connection will be equipped with an automatic value that will
be wired into the ADR PLC system and approximately 500 gpm of pregnant solution will be
directed into this new set of columns (maximum flow through these columns is 700gpm).
According, total flow of pregnant solution processed will increase from approximately 14,000
gpm to approximately 14,500 gpm (still well below the 17,000 gpm maximum ADR flow
modeled in the water balance -TR45).
Once solution is processed through the skid-mounted tanks, the solution will be (1) routed
directly to the barren tank at the reaz of the ADR for general redistribution to the pad or (2)
routed sepazately from the skid -mounted barren tank to the Phase 1 leach azea for direct drip
application to the Phase 1 ore. The barren tank at the tail end of the skip will also be fitted with
an HDPE overflow pipe to assure that any excess solution is routed the pipe channel well within
the Phase 1 heap leach azea.
The five columns and the barren tank represent approximately 3,500 cubic feet of steel structure,
the steel framing and platform and steps represent an additional 1,000 cubic feet of salvageable
steel. Using $0.27 per cubic foot for salvage, cut up and removal of the skid will be $1,215. It i~
estimated that approximately four semi trips to Pueblo will be required to remove the scrapped
steel to the salvage yazd. At approximately $550 per trip, transportation costs will be
approximately $2,200. Adding the 22.5% state administrative costs, the proposed financial
warranty for this technical revision is $4,184. The current unallocated bond with DRMS is
$62,748. Please add this TR-50 bond estimate of 4,184 to committed bond, leaving
approximately $58,568 in unallocated bond.
A check in the amount of $1006.00 for this technical revision request is attached.
Please contact me at (719)-689-4056 should you have questions or wish to discuss this request
for technical revision.
Environmental Resources
xc: Paul Clarkson
Director, Teller County Planning Department
Enclosed attachments
