I also told George that if the work (south facing slope soil amendment and revegetation <br />enhancement) occurs prior to the termination of the first five years since initial seeding, then I <br />would document that the work will not reinitiate the bond release timeframe for the site. <br />I asked George if he could have a resolution proposal by 2/15 and he stated that he could probably <br />have a commitment "in principle", but that he will need more time to have a formal resolution. [ <br />stressed that we need final resolution on the MR in 2-3 weeks. <br />I told George that incorporation of composted manure seems to be the best option for building a <br />more productive substrate, and that we are willing to see the work done in strips. <br />I instructed George to write a letter requesting an extension of 30 days to the NOV abatement <br />deadline. <br />I also instructed George to write a letter referring to our conservation, and which reserves their <br />right to request an assessment conference on the NOV. <br />M:\oss\jrc\Patterson memo.doc <br />
