(MCC) submits these responses to the July 21, 200s CDMG 2aa <br />Adequacy Review of Technical Revision-100 for installing four (4) drill pads and four (4) Methane <br />Drainage Wells (MDWs) associated with the E Seam South Mains Development Entries. The <br />Division's comments are in italics and the MCC responses are in boldface below. <br />1. The Division has received the decision memo from the U.S. Forest Service <br />granting access to the sites. This response is accepted. <br />Mountain Coal Company thanks the Division for their acceptance of this comment response. <br />2. The Division has received the cultural resources inventory by Greystone <br />Environmental Consultants. This information was submitted to the U.S. <br />Forest Service for their consideration in granting right-of-access. This <br />response is accepted. <br />Mountain Coal Company thanks the Division for their acceptance of this comment response. <br />3. The Division has received surveys for threatened and endangered <br />species from Michael Ward Associates and Monarch Associates. This <br />information was also submitted to the U.S. Forest Service for their <br />consideration in granting right-of-access. This response is accepted. <br />Mountain Coal Company thanks the Division for their acceptance of this comment response. <br />4. Mountain Coal Company submitted SEDCAD designs using conservative <br />assumptions in the modeling and these can be accepted by the Division. <br />However, one item is missing from the SEDCAD designs and must be provided by <br />the operator for further review by the Division. <br />
