z
Division on July 14, 1994, satisfies the requirements of the rule. In a subsequent telephone
conversation with Kent Gorham of the Division, he informally agreed. None-the-less, MCC has
had overburden analyses completed for composite samples as outlined in the Division's guidelines
for this sampling and analysis. The results (attached) further substantiate MCC's claim of the
'' //absence of sulfur forms in these materials.
QY~S. No response required.
Hydroloq~ (2.04.7
1. The head of the west, primary fork of Gribble Gulch is located south of the pond located
northwest of exploration drill hole No. JMB-9 (Reference #19 on Map 37A). The upper portion
of this fork is upstream of the panels planned to be mined in the Jumbo Mountain lease tract.
MCC will establish a monitoring point at this location and continue monitoring at a point
downstream of the Jumbo Spring No. 2 Pond (Reference # 15 on Map 37A), downstream of the
panels to be mined, as recommended during our July 14, 1994, meeting. A description of
monitoring and sampling techniques employed by MCC have been provided in the responses to a
separate revision application. ^ ~ ~•~ ti r'c~t ~ {l~'' ~ ~ .~ • • ~ ' '
~.
~~. As stated in MCC's May 23, 1994, response, all of the Jumbo Mountain water rights listed
~l~/ in Exhibit 19B are presently owned by Mr. and Mrs. Larry Mautz. Upon further investigation of
the Division of Water Resources records by an outside consultant, no historical flows
documenting beneficial use were on record. The attached table replaces Exhibit 19B and provides
the proposed use and status of each of the rights. Please note that all of the conditional domestic
uses proposed appear to have expired, as no records of due diligence were found.
- of r ~y ~cu ~ u vt ~' ~ t"v! ~1,u ~ ~-
