Adequacy Letter - TR 65
September 17, 1993
BOND ESTIMATE
Page 6
1. The following costs for these structures should be utilized:
A. Stacktube walls (concrete walls with heavy
reinforcement): $10.86/ft2
B. Reclaim tunnel floors and roof: $9.03/ft2
C. Reclaim tunnel walls (concrete walls with average
reinforcement): $9.95/ft2
D. Inlet sediment traps walls: $9.95/ft2
E. Weir box walls: $6.21/ft2
2. MCC should include a cost for concrete removal for the dozer
trap/reclaim system as it appears from Drawing G-102 that the
conveyor proceeds below grade.
3. The Division has reviewed the amount of earthwork that is
required to reclaim MB-2, MB-3, and MB-6, and found that the
amount required is similar to earthwork that will be required
to reclaim MB-2R and enlarged MB-3. Therefore, these tasks do
not have to be re-estimated at this time.
4. The Division has the following culvert inventory based on
Drawings G-101, G-103, and G-104:
MB-2R: 24" CMP inlet (SW) 20 ft. long
24" CMP inlet (NE) 30 ft. long
48" CMP drop inlet 17. 7 ft . long
48" CMP outlet 320 ft. long
MB-3: 12" CMP outlet 180 ft. long
48" CMP drop inlet 66 ft. long
24" CMP inlet (SE) 34 ft. long
30" CMP inlet (S) 20 ft. long
Miscellaneous:
12" CMP under access rd. to weir box
24" CMP NW of MB-2R
6" PVC to intake gallery
TOTALS: 6" PVC 550 feet
12" CMP 200 feet
24" CMP 184 feet
30" CMP 20 feet
48" CMP 403.7 feet
22 ft. long
100 ft. long
550 ft. long
