Four of the notices
were returned for various reasons and are at the end of the copies of the return receipts. It was thought that perhaps
the address had changed. When the envelopes containing the notices were returned the assessor files were checked
again and the mailing address shown there was the same. Included are copies of the assessor cards for these four
properties. These downloads of the cards were done on AprIl 25, 2007, and as you can see there still has been no
change in the address. These parties were therefore not officially notified. However, one or two of these people
showed up at the meeting with Transit Mix of Pueblo after the notices were sent out and some of these adjacent
owners wanted to have more information. Apparently, they had heard about the notices from neighbors.
Also included at the front of the return receipt pages is a copy of the cover letter provided with each notice as well
as the copy of the publication, a brief description of the changes being sought, and a copy of Exhibit B from the
application. Note that this is more information than is actually xe9uired to be provided to each landowner notified.
The cover letter provided here is a base letter into which each owner's address was inserted prior to sending the
notices. Copies of each of the actual letters axe available if you wish to have those as well, but they all say the same
thing as the base letter provided here.
Finally, is the affidavit of publication (original in one set and copy in the other set of documents). T am not sure what
happened to the copy of the first publication, but that was submitted in person to your front desk on March 13,
2007, the same day the notices were sent out.
Respectfully,
~~~~
Mark A.
