Unless I hear from you to the contrary, I <br />will presume that these changes are satisfactory to you. [Jith these changes, <br />both the warranties for this operation are in order and will be placed in <br />the State Treasurer's vault. <br />As soon as I receive the map with the additions outlined under 3) above, <br />the four corrective actions outlined on page 2 of the cease and desist order <br />issued April 27, 1982 will have been accomplished, and the permit for this <br />operation ~oi11 be issued and mailed to you immediately. The only time <br />requirement is that this permit be issued within 30 days after the May 26 <br />meeting. <br />Before the upcoming June 23-24, 1982 meeting, you should submit a plan <br />(including a map to show the areas to be involved) that describes the <br />reclamation work that you will commit yourself to do in lieu of paying the <br />unsuspended $1,500.00 portion of the 57,500.00 civil penalty. The value of <br />this reclamation work should be at least $1,500.00. I suggest that you <br />submit a cost list to illustrate this matter. Furthermore, this work is <br />to be done on those disturbed areas outside of the actual 8'~ permitted acres. <br />This plan will be reviewed by our staff and will serve as the basis foz' the <br />scheduled Board reconsideration of the unsuspended portion of your civil <br />penalty during the June 23-24 meeting. <br />I realize that I have covered many related matters in this letter.
