No. M82-11 <br />Dear P~1r. Korinek: <br />Enclosed please find the following items: <br />1) A copy of page 6 of the minutes of the May 26, 2982 meeting of <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board. The actions taken by the Board during <br />the formal public hearing on the above-captioned matter are itemized on <br />this page. <br />2) The $ 2,500.00 letter of credit and the accompanying financial <br />warranty form for this operation, submitted by you on May 26. These are <br />being returned because they have been replaced by a S 5,000.00 letter of <br />credit and accompanying financial warranty form. I have retained the <br />performance warranty submitted by you on May 26 to be placed with the new <br />financial warranty form in the State Treasurer's vault. <br />3) Your map of the area, submitted on June I. This is being returned <br />to you because I stiZ1 need two items added to it. First, the location of <br />aII topsoil stockpiles should be shown on this map. Second, as I mentioned, <br />an outline of the actual 8'~ acres that are to be included as a part of this <br />permit area must be shown on the map for purposes of defining the permit <br />area. <br />I have reviewed the new $5,000,00 financial warranty form, the accompanying <br />55,000.00 letter of credit, and the original performance warranty form. I <br />find them to be generally in order, e•~ith a few exceptions. Neither the <br />financial warranty nor the performance warranty has the legal description of <br />the operation attached. I have attached the legal description of'the <br />operation as given by you in the original permit application to each as <br />"Exhibit A". The description attached is as follows: <br />"Portions of the SW 1/8 Stdf~NE and the A'E 1/8 NE'sSE1 of Section 20, <br />T225, R57W of the 6th P.M., a1I in Crowley County, Colorado." <br /> <br />
