There are still a few outstanding issues which I hope can be <br />cleared up in the next few weeks, and it is hoped that further sampling <br />will accelerate to place the project back on schedule. <br />1. The Division has approved the revised report on the first Third- <br />Party Sampling Event, and has received verbal comments on the <br />report from Battle Mountain Gold. Upon receipt of a. final edited <br />version from RCG/Hagler-Bailly, the Division will pl~ce the report <br />in the public file. The Division expects the fin 1 copy to be <br />delivered by April 19. If Battle Mountain desires to elaborate on <br />the data or the text of the report, they may do so at any time. <br />2. The Division's recommenced changes to the Memorandum of <br />Understanding have been accepted. DMG will sign the MOU as soon <br />as copy is made available. <br />3. Revised itemized invoices for the first and second Third-Party <br />Monitoring events have been received from RCG/HBI ahd are hereby <br />approved for payment. <br />4. The date for the next Third Party Monitoring event will be <br />established by April 13 mutually by Battle Mountain Gold and <br />RCG/HBI. Both parties should inform me or Larry Qehler of the <br />sampling date once it is set. <br />5. The Division has not received a request for a Change Order from <br />RCG/HBI. It is imperative that any indicated change in the cost <br />of third party monitoring be brought to the Division's attention <br />as soon as possible. <br />
