What is the closest well in the area upgradient and downgradient from this <br />mill and tailings site? <br />5. 7o assist in reclamation at the tailings area the operator should make <br />every effort to salvage the fine, overburden material seperate from the <br />topsoil. This fine material could be placed over the rock capillary barrier <br />and before the topsoil to increase potential plant growth medium. <br />Water Storage <br />1. Submit the construction specifications for the underground storage area(s). <br />2. In the area to be used for water storage, please obtain a wal] rock sample <br />and have a total chemical analysis performed to determine possible <br />contamination. <br />3. Supply an analysis of the water that is planned to be stored in the <br />underground workings. <br />4. Please provide more detail pertaining to the pumping of water to the <br />storage area. The area where the pump is situated and associated activities <br />in this area must be included in the permit area. Also, the pipeline may need <br />to be included depending upon the extent of disturbance. We will make a <br />decision pertaining to this pipeline when the exact location and extent of <br />disturbance is discussed. <br />5.
