Subject: TECHNICAL REVISION for Pit 1 - Permit M-74-052.
Be advised that a durable metal sign is in place at Pit 1, to fully
comply with Rule 3.1.12, and as previously determined in
cooperation with your office. Annual Fees are current for this site,
but the Annual Fee and Report Due Date should be adjusted to July 1
of each year for both Dakolios (M84-036) and Pit 1 in order to utilize
aerial information available on an annual basis from a Front Range
provider.
Significant information is derived from recent 1996 aerial
information which will be utilized to fulfill technical
revision/amendment requirements and related mapping, and will be
utilized as the 1996 Annual Reports for Pit 1 and Dakolios and to
benchmark subsequent years. The reports are part of this submittal.
Evaluation of the site indicates the need to alter diverse elements of
the mining and reclamation plan to better reflect the realities of field
conditions, evident in the 1996 aerial photography. It is the intent of
