This is <br />one part of a two-part response to the subject permit request from the City. <br />This letter represents the City's response regarding compliance of the permit <br />request to City of Lakewood zoning requirements and other applicable ordi- <br />nances. The second letter delivered with this response represents objections <br />to, and comments regarding the proposed reclamation plan from the City, as <br />surface rights owner of a portion of the land covered by the request and <br />manager of said lands as a public recreation facility. <br />As indicated in the letter to you from Jefferson County staff of May 30, 1984, <br />(attached), a part of the land subject to the permit request has recently been <br />annexed [o the City of Lakewood. Therefore, the subject land described under <br />the legal description which follows is now under the legal jurisdiction of the <br />City of Lakewood, and will continue to be under the City's jurisdiction at the <br />time proposed for the permit hearing: <br />"A parcel of land lying in the Southwest One-quarter (SW-1/4) of Section <br />24, Township 4 South, Range 70 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, <br />County of Jefferson, State of Colorado, more particularly described as <br />follows: <br />0 <br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of said SW-1/4; thence S.O1 31'41"W. <br />(assumed bearing, all bearings herein related thereto) along the East <br />lie of said SW-1/4, a distance of 2,618.46 feet, more or less, to a <br />point on the South line of West Alameda Parkway; thence northwesterly <br />along said South line for the following four (4) courses: <br />
