Soil descriptions, soil map(s), and a list of hydric soils or soils with hydric inclusions on the <br />site. <br />Response: A copy of the unpublished MRCS soils map for this site as prepared by the NRCS in <br />connection with the 2003 Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology Mine Permit Application <br />is enclosed. In essence the subject property falls within the boundaries of soils mapping unit # 85 <br />- Giazch Fine Sandy Loam, 0 to 3 percent slopes. A copy of the soils mapping unit description <br />for this unit enclosed. According to the draft NRCS "Moffat County Area, Colorado - <br />Comprehensive Hydric Soils List" dated 9 February 1993, soils mapping unit 85 is not a hydric <br />soil and typically does not contain inclusions of unmapped hydric soils. <br />Any observed and/or documented examples of an interstate or foreign commence <br />connection. Examples include, bat are not limited to: <br />Recreational or other use by interstate or foreign travelers. <br />Sale of fish or shellfish in interstate or foreign commence. <br />Use by industries, including agriculture, operating in interstate or foreign <br />commence. <br />Response: The 3B- Enterprises -Deakins Gravel Pit has no documented connections with <br />interstate and foreign travelers. Nor are there any known recreational, fisheries, shellfish, or <br />uses by any industries with connections to interstate or foreign commence associated with this <br />site. <br />A delineation map at an appropriate scale (for most projects, a scale of one inch to 100 or <br />200 feet). <br />Respouse: The enclosed map entitled "3B-Enterprises -Deakins Pit -Wetland Map, at a scale of <br />one inch equals 60 feet, shows the portion of the proposed mine expansion azea site that was <br />mapped for this wetland delineation mapping effort. This map shows the location of the wetland <br />boundaries and the ordinary high water mark of Jones Slough as delineated in this mapping <br />effort. <br />The map should no exceed one inch to 400 feet unless there are extenuating circumstances. <br />(Note: map scales must be accurate and in round numbers, any maps using a photographic <br />base mast be corrected for distortions, and any overlays must be of identical scale). The <br />map must include: The boundary of the entire project area. <br />Resnonse: The enclosed map entitled "3B-Enterprises -Wetland Map" shows the location of <br />the wetland boundaries as delineated in this mapping effort. This map is at a scale of one inch <br />equals 60 feet, mapped at a one foot contour interval. <br />All features which meet the criteria for wetlands or other waters of the United States. <br />Resnonse: The two features which meet the criteria of jurisdictional waters of the United States <br />found on this property correspond to potential jurisdictional wetlands and standing water.
