n5~'n1~9i 15:56 $'9i0 A•:lla DELTd COC\'Tl' . ~ nnn <br />EXHIBIT °E" <br />RECLAMATION PLAN <br />LEh101NE GRAVEL PIT <br />1 The area in which the Lemoine Gravel Pit is located is basically rangeland and a gravel pit site. <br />There arc no water rights within the permitted area. <br />The reclamation plan is u follows <br />(a) When areas of mining are complete, the pit area, gravel storage areas and access routes <br />will be disked or tipped to a depth of at least twelve (12) inches with spacing of no more <br />than twelve (12) inches. <br />(b) The present land use is rangeland, gravel pit Post mining land use, as compared to other <br />land uses Rill be rangeland. <br />(c} Any pit walls, if applicable, will be sloped to existing contours not to exceed 3 1 ratio. <br />(d) Top soil will be removed to a depth of two (2) to three (3) feet, stockpiled and stabilized <br />as rewmmended by the Soil Conservation District. Stockpiled topsoil will be spread <br />ovCr the area to a depth. of fmm ten (lU) to twelve (12) inches or more depending on <br />availability. <br />(c) Seed mirArn.:, as recommended by the Soil Conservation District .will be hand broadcast <br />followed by dtaggins to cover seed. <br />(f) The reclamation of the gravel pit area and associated disturbed areas will be <br />accomplished with County earthmoving equipment in use at the site and will be a <br />continuing process; as each area of mining is completed it will be backfilled. graded and <br />sloped to conform to existing contours Tots] acreage disturbed at any one time will be <br />approximately 2 - 3 acres. <br />There an no land use regulations in Delta County, therefore no permits are required or <br />restrictions apply. There will be no recreational or public use of the mining an:a during <br />the mining process. <br />The Soil Conservation Service recommended seed mi~mrre will be utilized if possible, <br />which is as follows: <br />
