These various alternatives to
correcting the problems in this difficult area have been
passed on to the Cedar Heights Lenders and to Greg Nagle.
Unfortunately, it does not appear the matter is going to be
resolved by March 31, 1990, although it is still a
possibility. If you review the plane I am sure you will see
this is no easy nut to crack. None of the possible options
is entirely satisfactory in all respects. The best options
would require a considerable expenditure on the part of Moth
Castle Concrete and Cedar Heights. If Cedar Heights decides
they do not wish to put any money into fixing the problem,
then the possible options still leave some element of risk
that road damages will occur. The ideal thing would be to
start all over, but as that is obviously not an option, we
will have to work with what is there and manage the problems
as they come.
As far as the rest of the corrective action work, Castle is
making good progress and April should see moat of the work
completed. Disturbance Area #1 on the road has been graded
and looks quite good. A little erosion occurred as s result
of the storm Mr. Nagle referred to in his letter, but as
topsoil had not been spread the minor rilling will be
corrected at that time as well as installation of silt
fences.
