In the letter, you indicated that, as part of the remediation activities, a <br />system of french drains and contour ditches will be installed. In a subsequent telephone call, you indicated <br />that flow from the drain system will go to an existing sedimentation pond. <br />We have no immediate objections to [his activity. However, Part II.A.1. of Trapper's CDPS permit requires <br />them to inform the Water Quality Control Division ("Division") of anything that may alter their discharge. <br />For this reason, Trapper should submit a full description of this new wastewater source to [he Division for <br />our consideration. We may determine that it is necessary to add effluent limitations and/or monitoring or <br />other requirements. Such additional requirements, if imposed, may apply after final bond release of the site. <br />The requirments will be dictated primarily by effluent quality. <br />Thank you for this opportunity to comment.
