The depth and thickness of the mineral deposit to be mined and the thickness of <br />overburden to be removed. <br />The existing depth of our other pits, in this particular area, range from 30 to 40 <br />feet t. The overburden consists of 1 to 2 feet which will be stripped and <br />stockpiled in the designated area and will be utilized for reclamation and berming <br />areas at the existing and proposed sites. <br />h. The proposed use of reclaimed lands and an explanation of the reclamation process. <br />Weld County proposes to reclaim the land for wildlife ]tabitat/recreational lake <br />because of its proximity to the Cache La Poudre River, a natural wildlife habitat. <br />Screening mounds along the perimeter will be constructed with side slopes no <br />greater than 4:1 and will be revegetated. A mixture of seeds suitable to the area <br />have been recommended by the Soil Conservation Service. <br />i. The source of technical advice in that type of reclamation for open cut mining land. <br />Veld County Public Works Department utilizes the Soil Conservation Service to <br />provide an adequate seed mix to reveeeta[e all their pits throughout the county. <br />Mining practices tluoughout the existing counq~ pits are on a continuous basis. <br />The mining department utilizes a technical staff for tnining practices and state, <br />county, and federal permitting. We use an environmental scientist, Dazcy Tiglas, <br />as a consultant for the wetland area and the 404 permit. <br />3. A certified list of the names, addresses and the co~Tesponding parcel identification number <br />assigned by the Weld county Assessor of the owners of property (the surface estate) within <br />i00 feet of the property subject to the application. The source of such list shall be records <br />of the Weld counq~ Assessor, or an ownership update from a title or abstract company or <br />attorney. derived from such records, or from the records of the Weld County Clerk and <br />Recorder. If the list is assembled from the records of the Weld County Assessor, the appli- <br />cant shall certify that such list was assembled within 30 days of the application submission <br />date. A certified list of the names and addresses of mineral owners and lessees of minerals on or <br />under the parcel of land being considered.
