COSGRIFF: Twenty days or $10,000 with
$8 being suspended.
Fle would like to point out and suggest first
as to the expansion of the Cease and Desist Order. t\'e would
like to suggest that cve still be allowed to remove a certain
specific limited amount of stockpile, sand and gravel on
that particular site. That amount can be fixed in an actual
amount of yardage and an actual location.
If we are granted that particular right, we
would certainly work in cooperation, under the direction of
this Board and staff, to make certain that we reported fully
and exactly what was removed and when and from exactly what
location.
We have a little bit of a further unique
problem here and I'm sure it's shared by Mr. Watson's client:
That the widow is only surviving on social security; has no
other funds available. The gravel here has already been
washed stockpile and has been there--well, prior to the
Cease and Desist Order. If we proceed diligently as we have
outlined and represented to the Board, i.e., have the permit
filed by November 1, we would like the right to remove these
particular amounts of material on that Jones pit site: 2,500
yards of pea gravel, 2,500 yards of number four sand--all of
whiclZ has been washed--and 1,000 yards of three-quarter inch
rock. These, if I understand it, are frankly needed just to
!// EF.\' C+ R!'F \TER F :1 SS'!)C/.+ 1 E5. /?'C
Crrufircl .fhurrlmnJ R. prrnm
/.SGO Chrrn'r Jle Road
Lu denm.
