5 Adequacy Items
The following items must be addressed by the applicant in order to satisfy the applicable
requirements of C.R.S. 34-32-101 gs egg. and the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the
Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board.
General
It is the understanding of the Division that what is submitted in the application, as
Engineering Studies, Exhibits, Maps, etc., etc. by consultants and the operator will be
included as parts of the application and will be binding to the permit. In the future it will
facilitate the review process if the operator would numerate the pages in an organized
manner throughout the permit application. It is the responsibility of the operator to be in
compliance with all the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Board.
As submitted, the application was very difficult to follow. Division staff had to go back
and forth to find the supporting document or data for clarification.
The application refers to several previous reclamation permits for data. The Operator
should collect and collate all the information applicable to this permit and provide it along
with the permit application.
Maps and Exhibits
1) According to Rule 2.12 (1)(b) all maps must be prepared by a Registered
Land Surveyor, Professional Engineer or other qualified person. Please state
the qualification of the person or persons who prepared the map. None of
the maps submitted with the engineering studies application had a scale,
bearing and complete legend. Please provide all the applicable information
on each map.
