<br />RECLAlv1ATION EQUIPMENT <br />The type, size, and number of equipment units to be used during reclamation to move <br />overburden, perform rough grading, apply soil amendments, prepare the seedbed, and perforrn <br />seeding H-ill be included in the reclamation cost determination for each quarry. There will also <br />be a mobilization demobilization cost for each piece of equipment to be used. Inclusion of these <br />costs is typical of reclamation bonds that the Division calculates. Please address this concern. <br />In summary, the Division will look forward to Colorado Lien Company's response on or before <br />March 31, 1998. Please note that Colorado Lien Company has preserved its right to appeal the <br />proposed yond increase initially requested by the Division in our November 19, 1997 <br />cotresporniance. If you disagree with the Division's position on any of the issues presented in <br />this letter, we aze willing to either meet with you and discuss them or schedule a hearing before <br />the Colorado Mine Land Reclamation Boazd at the next available meeting.
