Scrapers were <br />utilized in the reconstruction and the material was wheel roll compacted. The material used for <br />the reestablished berm consisted of shale and overburden. <br />The berm constructed to create the silt storage area is 12 feet wide with 3:1 slopes (See Figure <br />2). Scrapers were used to construct this berm and the material was wheel roll compacted. Shale <br />and overburden were used to construct the berm.
