Area lighting and solid <br />waste disposal is located nearby. <br />SCREENING AND BUFFERING -The mining, stockpile, haul road and office areas are <br />adequately screened from view. Screening consists of planted earthen berms which are <br />at least 10 feet above the surrounding grade. Access to the property is secured with a <br />chain link fence and a locked gate. <br />UTILITY SERVICE -Sanitary sewer treatment for the office and the RV parking area <br />consist of two separate septic tanks and absorption fields. Water is provided by an existing <br />permitted well located near the northeasterly comer of the property. 'Holy Cross Electric <br />Association provides electric service to the office, RV parking area, concrete plant and the <br />newly constructed asphalt plant. Since the crushing unit is very portable, electric needs <br />are met by utilizing portable diesel generators. <br />
