As required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, we are notifying all
owners of permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of mining operations. In your case, it
appears there is a fence running along the eastern edge of the parcel that is being included to the
mining area. To assist you in locating your fence on the property I have enclosed a copy of the
survey map.
In the event that any damages occur to the portion of your fence within the Montezuma County
Mancos Gravel Pit, due [o the Montezuma mining operations, Montezuma County is liable and
agrees to repair the fence to its pre-damaged condition.
This agreement establishes Montezuma County's liability, as written above, and holds them
responsible for preventing damage to the fence (where it is within 200' of the mining operation).
By signing in the space provided below, your consent to this agreement will be acknowledged.
We would greatly appreciate your prompt response and thank you in advance for your time.
Your Truly, --
,~ ~ t~
Tim McComb
Montezuma County Road & Bridge Dept.
]680 North Hwy 145, Cortez, CO 81321
Assurance Acknowledged by:
Administrator
