the appropriate means of addressing drainage and sediment requirements for this area. A ditch (Ditch F- <br />2) was added to more effectively route flows to the railroad culvert and prevent ponding, and a rock check <br />dam was added as an additional filter and sediment trap prior to discharge through the culvert (refer to <br />page 2.05-81 of the Permit document). <br />The Eastern Mining District (EMD) Treatment Pond SAE addresses disturbance associated with the <br />designed treatment ponds for the Fish Creek Dewatering Borehole. The 4.4 acre SAE area is the total <br />drainage area including approximately 3.1 acres of disturbance (topsoil stockpile outslopes and a <br />stabilized cut-slope) and 1.3 acres of undisturbed drainage area (refer to' page 2.05-82.1 of the Permit <br />document). <br />Hopefully, this information adequately addresses the preliminary questions you identified.
