there will beproducing somewhat of a bast in here with a
slope coming down from the ditch on this side and at a much
larger slope on this side. In this way it protects the
integrity of the ditch along here. I guess it runs that Way._
RW: Did you get to the water table in that . . .
MH: Pardon me?
RW: Do they get to the water table in that?
MH: No, they didn' t indicate that they would be getting into any
water and i think that the indication on this is that primar-
ily no discharge is going to be required on the pit, so no
NPDES permit is required.
JS : Is that a drainage ditch, Mark or an irrigation?
MH: I believe it' s irrigation ditch. Also, this road that shows it on
the map is continuing on down around here. The timetable of
the operation is 3 phases about 5 years in each phase. Water
for the operation will be drawn from a from sump wells loca-
ted along the ditch or in the vicinity of the ditch, along
the northern boundary of the affected land. They have an
easement crew to acquire it from the owner to acquire this
water and they've applied to the adjudication and indications
that I got from the attorney in Glenwood Springs is that they
should be getting approval shortly. They have shown possible
sites in here for the concrete plant and a hot mix plant, but
-2-
