C-PIT Hydrogeologic Investigations <br />Technical Revision No. 8 <br />3: Observations and Results Mining Permit M-1977-208 <br />and sulfate ions increased. The increase in these constituents could be associated with the addition of the fill, <br />the decrease in the pH and associated equilibrium reactions, or both. <br />The geochemical signature of water from monitoring well CEM-001 did not change significantly following <br />the placement of the fill in C-Pit.
