In addition, I made a spot <br />check of the SEDCAD demonstration The SEDCAD demonstration looks ok. <br />With regard to Drawing No. 13-8: <br />The scale bar is missing. <br />The elevation of the invert of the primary spillway barrel inlet should be labeled. The SEDCAD run <br />indicates that it should be at an elevation of 7375. <br />A detail of the trash rack should be shown. <br />The length of the primary spillway barrel should be labeled. The SEDCAD run indicates a length <br />of 100 feet. <br />The slope of the primary spillway barrel should be labeled. The SEDCAD run indicates a slope of <br />5%. <br />The elevation of the upstream embankment and original ground surface should be labeled. <br />The type of protection provided to the crest of the emergency spillway should be labeled. <br />The type of protection provided to the crest, inslopes and outslopes of the embankment should be <br />labeled. <br />The stability analysis is ok. A factor of safety of 1.3 is required, 1.305 is provided. <br />A summary of compliance with rules is presented in the attached checksheet.
