2-12 South wall of the garage showing repairs to the parapet wall of the garage
area.
2-13 East wall of the garage and the courtyard wall and the more western portions
of the south wall of the house. All of these areas show recent repairs. Most
of the repairs are up at the parapet except the entire south wall, I believe, has
been re-stuccoed.
2-14 View of the south wall of the residence. Careful inspection shows the new
metal linings for the roof scuppers.
2-15 Entrance from the garage driveway area into the courtyard.
ROLL 3
3-1 View of the northwest side of the residence and recent repairs of parapet wall
on the north side of the house can be seen.
3-2 Looking at the west wall near the kRchen. The connector between the house
and the garage can be seen and the repairs to the parapet are visible in this
• photo.
3-3 View of the connector area and the garage looking west to east.
3-4 Overview of the west side of the residence and the recent repairs can be
seen, it appears most of the repairs to the parapet area.
3-5 A structure located along the road a mile or two east of the Tatum residence.
it shows typical adobe construction. The mud plaster is eroding off of the
walls and has completely separated from most of the wall. It does allow a
good understanding of how the structures are built.
3-6 Same as 3-5.
3-7 Same structure detail at the middle of the wall along the north side of the
structure which is located just south of the highway.
3-8 Same as 3-7.
3-9 Another adobe structure located 3 or 4 miles east of the Tatum ranch. The
structure is on the south side of the highway. It is an old structure, obviously
in disrepair but R does again demonstrate two things, (1) the construction,
and (2) how adobe construction degenerates.
• 3-10 Detail of 3-9.
3-11 Detail of the north wall of the structure.
TATUM RESIDENCE
cTUr zi,z3e 3
