,.. ..

Mr. Marcus Middleton - 2 - March i0, 1993
4. The post-mining land use for the Foidel Creek mine is stated to be
identical to the pre-mining land use as shown on Map 3. This contradicts
the land use of the CYCC permit C-81-071 for the overlapping areas. The
Division requires that the post mining land use be identical for those
areas which overlap. Please determine which land use is correct and
submit a revision to change the land use which is incorrect. Page 2.04-3
references to cropland may also need to be changed.
5. The following problems are noted in the text:
a. Pages 2.05-22, 22(a), and 22(b) have repetition (access roads)
b. Pages 2.05-12 to 2.05-12(a> do not flow
c. Pages2.05-54(g)(1) to 2.05-55 does not flow
d. Pages 2.05-55 to 2.05-55(a) does not flow
e. Page 3.01-1 needs to be modified to indicate current bond review
date and bond amount.
f. Map 15 (Alluvial Valley Floors and Water Rights) as well as any
water rights text or tables need to be updated relative to site 114
(Emerald Springs) and any other new or additional water rights.
Please submit a minor revision to fix or clarify the above problems.
6. Topsoil resources are currently being addressed in conjunction with TR-15
(Waste Pile). Although the Division considers this a topic of concern
during renewal, it will not be addressed associated with this renewal
process.
7. A few other page problems were noted as a result of PR-02. Those pages
noted as a result of our phone conversation will not be addressed in this
renewal process.
If you have questions or comments please call me.
Sincerely,
~ifent A.
