plant, An asphalt oil tank is located adjacent to the asphalt plant, and a diesel fuel tank is located
near the portable gravel crushing unit. All fuel is stored in above ground tanks that have lined
containment dikes to prevent any discharges of fuel from leaving the site or percolating into the
ground. Each containment area is capable of holding at least 110% of the lazgest tank above it.
An engineered Spill Prevention, Control and Counter Measure Plan (SPCC) is on file with the
State of Colorado Labor and Employment's Oil Inspection Section. A key element of the SPCC
plan includes annual training for all workers at the facility for spill containment and controls in
the event that a spill should occur.
