The upper 150' <br />segment of ditch at the luadow below Transfer Point 4 had again silted in and maintenance is ~ <br />~Ff~: ~ <br />necessary. Certain drainage desi~~n modifications associated with drainage to Pond 5 and Pond 8~ <br />were included in reczntly approved TR-22 and PR-02, and will need to be implemented by this <br />sprin~~. <br />Minewater di,char_r <br />Dischar~~c prints OU? and 004 were observed to be discharging clear water at various <br />- times during the ntspectiun. The operator has submitted a technical revision (TR-24) <br />to address re grading ul~thz specified ditch segments, and grade stakes were in place along the <br />ditch at the timr of the inspection. The NOV was extended to January 19, 1998, to allow <br />additional time G,r rcvic~c of the 1 R application. Terrace drains and reclaimed bench outslopes <br />appeared to he in good condition. with no excessive erosion, sediment deposition, or apparent <br />instability ubxrvai. <br />The upper 3U" ctnp at the lower end of the CRDA-2 East Collection Ditch has acctunulated <br />sediment Prom stonir runoff earlier i}iis fall,_and.althottghs~ill .functional; is in need of cleanout <br />
