Page Four <br />1/8/92 Mr. Steen told Division COM, Inc. is processing ore from a Colorado <br />Springs property, the Bueno Mine and bought ore from Hendricks (the <br />Cross Mine ore) Mining Co. - all are violations of the permit. <br />pis;, e,. <br />1/8/92 Tom Hendricks letter to Rob Helmick, Boulder County Planning Dept. <br />- Mr. Hendricks said the 400 tons of development ore would not be <br />moved from his property unless the Gold Hill Mill was allowed to <br />process it. Mr. Steen told Mr. Hendricks it is illegal. <br />1/10/92 Mr. Steen's response to 11/26/91 inspection issues received by the <br />Division. Mr. Steen faxed a copy of Gold Hill Ventures Ltd. <br />Ptrships., Boulder County permit which also states only ores owned <br />by GHVLP will be processed at mill. <br />1/10/92 Mr. Hendricks letter to Mr. Tatman - After talking with D. Buckman <br />of MLRD, clearly reminded Mr. Tatman that he was permitted to <br />process only ores from the Gold Hili Miil complex. To mill other <br />ores must have a permit from Dept. of Health, Solid and Hazardous <br />Waste Section. <br />1/13/92 Division met with representatives of COM, Inc., Mr. Tatman, Mrs. <br />Fraser, Mr. Munn, and T. Hendricks, S. Pettem. <br />T. Hendricks was reminded of what Dave Shelton at the Dept. of <br />Health said. Need a Dept. of Health permit if mine other ores at <br />mill. All COM, Inc. representatives agreed that Bueno ore was <br />processed at the Gold Hill Mill. They have no interest in the <br />Bueno Mine. Mr. Munn suggested that Gold Hill Ventures Ltd. <br />Ptrshp. was never formed. Division told everyone the 400 tons of <br />ore purchased from T. Hendricks could not be processed at the Goid <br />Hill Mill. COM, Inc. representatives would like to file a joint <br />revision to the permit that would change this. <br />1/23/92 Mr. Steen says Gold Hill Mill received 550 tons of ore from <br />Hendricks Mining Company's Cross Mine. <br />1/23/92 Mr. Tatman told Division - COM, inc. only processed Bueno ores. He <br />said he shipped only monzonite from Hendricks Mining to mill to use <br />for pH control and left the ore at the Boulder mill site. Said he <br />would not roo cess this rock until the inspection report issues were <br />solved Still promised response from COM, Inc.'s lawyer on ore <br />ownership issue. <br />1/28/92 Rob Helmick, Boulder Co. Land Use Dept. to Gwen Fraser, COM, Inc. <br />- Milling of ores other than from (Big Horn Mountain) - Gold Hill <br />Ventures contiguous mining c]aims is a violation of the county <br />permit. Bueno Mine ore's processed at Gold Hill Mill are a <br />violation of the Boulder County zoning permit. <br />2/5/92 Division issues Reason to Believe letter to Co-operators for <br />processing ore at Gold Hill Mill not owned by Gold Hill Ventures. <br />2/6/92 Mr.Tatman promised a response on the ownership of ores processed at <br />the Gold Hill Mill issue from their attorney, Mr. Munn. <br />
