Historically, the primary use of these water rights has been for flood irrigation. It
is possible, that with the retention of these diversion structures, the water right
will revert back to the historical use.
Exploration sites within the permit azea (and permitted as either Minor or Technical
Revisions) have been reclaimed. Basin is requesting that these exploration sites be
removed from the Golden Eagle Mining permit and incorporated into approved and
bonded Notices of Intent (NO['s) adjacent to these sites . Reclamation of these NOI
sites (except for roads to be retained by the surface owner) has also been completed. As a
separate action, Basin will also be requesting bond release for these sites.
Enclosed, to be included as part of this technical revision, are a bonding revision
schedule, a schedule of exploration facilities to be transferred to NOI's, and a proposed
public notice. If the Division requires additional information or clarifications please
contact me.
Surely,
Ronald G. Thompson
Property Manager
Enclosures
