-~-
6. Page 6 -modify the bond estimate for the above mentioned task as necessary. Cost
estimates for the removal of the conveyor and building must be included because if
the mine defaulted on the reclamation, then a 3rd party contractor would need to be
hired by the state on a contract bid process. This requires that all tasks indicated in
the reclamation plan, including removal of the structures, be implemented and Burnett
Construction would not necessarily be the contractor awarded the bid.
Rule 2.05.6(6)
Subsidence Survey, Monitoring and Subsidence Control Plan.
1. This rule requires that an inventory of all structures and renewable resource land in
the permitted and adjacent areas be inventoried. Structures include all buildings,
ditches, roads, wells, powerlines, etc. Renewable resource lands include aquifers,
recharge area for aquifers, silviculture, and irrigated pastureland.
Once inventoried, a map showing the location of all structures, survey monuments
and renewable resource lands in within the permit and adjacent area needs to be
prepared and a brief description of each structure and renewable resource included in
the permit.
2. Dependent upon the inventory of stnuctures, and the determination that material
damage or diminution of reasonable foreseeable use, then a subsidence control plan
may be required to include measures that will be taken to prevent material damage, or
to restore or replace as the case may be.
m: \coal\8135adeq. hr
