Page 3, 2nd paragraph, last sentence: the mine will be located at least 136 feet above <br />the potentiometric level. The revisions incorrectly states 82 feet -this needs to be <br />edited. <br />3. Page 4, second paragraph states that the King Coal Mine has never impacted ground- <br />water systems, yet on page 2 it states, "has little impact". As nature is rarely <br />depicted in absolute terms, please change page 4 to agree with page 2. <br />This same paragraph is a repeat of page 2. <br />4. Page 5, well list: r/5 and N6 seem the same, except the name is changed, and both do <br />not agree with the current permit page. Please edit and correct. <br />Page 6, last paragraph: the distance to well 108185 has been altered from 4,300' to <br />2,000'. Since no map was made available to verify this difference may be due to the <br />new permitted acreage under this revision, please indicate if this indeed has changed. <br />6. Page 7, 2nd paragraph. The fourth sentence in the current permit reads "A water <br />right agreement for use of the meadr,w well is ;nrl„rlad ;,.:' ~ ,xhibit". This <br />sentence seems to have been deleted in the revised page. Please clarify the current <br />status of this agreement, and if necessary re-incorporate this sentence into the revised <br />page. Secondly, if the agreement is current provide a copy of the document. The <br />current permit indicates that the agreement was terminated on September, 1992. <br />Rule 2.04.9 <br />Soils Resource Information. <br />The area surrounding the disturtred area appear to have been properly mapped and identified. <br />However, the maps submitted (both soils and vegetation) are somewhat unclear in that the <br />boundaries between the units are not very distinct. Generally on these maps the boundary <br />lines are unique so as to be easily distinguished from contour or p.~~o.ty lines, etc. Often <br />the soil or vegetation type delineation lines follow closely along contours but the two should <br />
