Iuppa end eons (Jim & Jerry) feel the
DIVISION has taken it upon itself to decide the future of our
property, without any lnput from us whatsoever. To date, we have
received no correspondence about any actions taken by the DIVISION;
actions that have bed and will have a greet affect our property.
This property has been in our families for over 50 years. We find
it hard to believe that we have no say eo in the future of this
property, duet because it was mined for coal. We are still the
taxpayers and the owners.
This letter was prompted by the recent destruction of concrete
slabs which we had asked be left. Our concern is how many more
structures will also be destroyed that we have requested he left
for future use.
We requested that the following fecilltiee be left, as ie
referenced by p482R (Enclosure #11):
1. Sediment pond
2. Prep Plant walls and foundation
3. 3-bay roofed concrete structure, adjacent to prep plant
4. Shop Building
5. Access road
6. Water wells, pumps, pump house, pipeline, and related
equipment.
We would like to give a brief reason why we feel each of the
facilities et,ould remain. Should it he necessary, a more detailed
explanation could be given. The fallowing reasons are all based
upon a post mining use of "range land" as hoe Geer, set by the
