• Cotter proposes the following seed mixture for reclamation: <br /> Species #/A <br /> Sand Dropseed 0.5 <br /> Crested Wheatgrass 3.0 <br /> Western Wheatgrass 3.0 <br /> Fourwing Salt Bush 3.0 <br /> Indian Ricegrass 2.0 <br /> Yellow Sweet Clover 2.0 <br /> 13.5 <br /> Broadcast seeding will be done with either a tractor-mounted <br /> seeder or a cyclone seeder. The seed will then be lightly covered <br /> with soil either by using a harrow or by hand-raking. The preferred <br /> seeding time will be Fall . <br /> • Reclamation Timetable <br /> Due to the small area involved and the underground nature of <br /> the mine, constant use of the disturbed area is necessary and most <br /> reclamation cannot begin until all mining activity has ceased. <br /> Within five years after final reclamation has begun, the following <br /> activities will be completed: <br /> a. Sealing of adits, shafts and vent holes. <br /> b. Removal of surface buildings and structures. <br /> c. Grading of waste dump and other affected land. <br /> d. Preparation of seedbed. <br /> e.
