(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of February 16 <br />through March 8, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approxirnate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 2° F to 27° F, and highs ranged from 19° F to 47° F. Snow was recorded <br />on Febri~y 180i, 190`, 240' through 280', and Mazch lst. Weather observations were made on eight <br />days of this twenty-one day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase PJb and <br />c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on eight days of this twenty- <br />one day reporting period (February 17 through 20 and February 25 through 28). <br />Phase IV b <br />Ames did not perform construction related activities within the Phase IVb area during this reporting <br />period. <br />Phase IV c <br />Ames continued cut excavation and temporary stockpiling of Structural Fill (SF) in the Phase IVc azea <br />above the Phase PJb/c temporary diversion channel. Ames placed SF downslope to the temporary <br />stockpiles, above and below the old Connolly haul road elevation. <br /> <br />
