In fact the total/WAD cyanide had attained levels of as hi h as
270 ppm/230 ppm in the lower tailings pond, 150 ppm/110 ppm in the u per
tailings pond, and 160 ppm/I10 ppm in the collection pond as of earl June,
1992, as shown in the following brief summary of cyanide monitoring ata.
Lower Tailings Pond
Date Total (ppm) W.A.D.
9/13/91 130
(/30/92 240
4/24/92 210
5/28/92 230
6/11/92 270
7/03/92
7/07/92
7/09/92
7/20192
[H2O2
110
210
210
200
230
Treatment Begun
31
12
Upper Tailings Pond
Total (ppm) W.A.D.
(Permit M-88-112)
Collec ion Pond
Total ( pm) W.A.D.
40
Treatment Begun
10
1
110 84
150 110
150 110
in Lower Pondl
CH2O2
7/22192 57 16 15
[Low % Copper Ore Processed]
d/03/92 4
3/12/92 3
150 140
160 110
160 77
in Upper Pend]
100 52
50
46
