Box 350 ~ Las Animas, Colorado 81054 i Dear Mr. Burkhalter: I examined the proposed site in the East 1/Z of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 24, Township 22 South, Range 52 West on August 22, 1994. The Reclamation plan for this site is as follows: Situation: This site is a native rangeland and classified as a Gravel Breaks range site; cattle are grazing at this time. The site is overgrazed and needs some type of management applied to better the condition of the rangeland, fencing mioht be the tool to use to accomplish this. Soils: This site consists of mostly Cascajo soils and gravelly land soil symbol Ca. The Gravel Breaks are strongly sloping soils that are shallow over limy, very sandy, gravelly outvrash with low water holding capacity. Land capability class is VIIs-4.
