C-93-015 Please extend the abatement time to June 15, 1993. <br />Due to Scott Johnson leaving BRI and also ten consecutive <br />days of rain, existing staff has been unable to complete the <br />surveying. I am in the process now of scheduling a local <br />survey company to do the work. Greystone has been lied up <br />to complete the drafting and certifications. <br />Midterm Permit Review <br />Enclosed please find the following items addressing the <br />midterm permit review of the Golden Eagle Mine <br />Map 1 - Surface Ownership Map This map has been revised to <br />include recently platted 35 acre parcel within and adjacent <br />to the permit area. <br />Map 3a - Projected Area of Subsidence - NW Longwall Panels <br />Figure 12 - Typical Subsidence Profile <br />Section 2.05 Application For Permit for Surface or <br />Underground Mining Activities, pages 2.05-1 through 8. <br />Permit Revisions <br />Map 11-Surface facilities and roads has been modified to <br />show equipment and storage areas at the west end of the east <br />portal areas. A revision form is attached. The certified <br />mine map has already been submitted. A contractor has been <br />retained to remove all obsolete and scrap items from these <br />areas. <br />Also enclosed is a technical revision requesting approval to <br />remove New Elk culvert C15. This was a culvert that served <br />an old haul road. This road was taken out of service <br />several years ago and the culvert inadvertent left on the <br />maps.
