TR I8, C-84-065 <br />July I, 2001 <br />Page 7 of 10 Pages <br />s There are no Federal or State' government agencies other than those listed above with authority <br />[o issue any other permits and licenses needed by the applicant in connection with operations <br />proposed in the application. <br />Rule 2.07.3(3)(c): These local bodies, agencies, or authorities may submit written comments to <br />the Division, within 30 days of the last publication of the above notice, with respect to tire effect <br />of the proposed operation oz: the environment which is rvitltin their area of respor:sibility. Such <br />cmnments shall be inunediately transmitted to the applicant by the Division and shall be made <br />available to the public at the same locations as the pernzil applicntiorr. <br />The 30-day period in which to respond is reduced to ] 0 days by Rule 2.08.4(6)(b)(ii). The public <br />notice by the applicant was published on April 20, 2001 (responses due by Apri] 30, 2001. The <br />Division letters to various agencies dated April 4 2001 provided IS days to respond (responses <br />due by April 19. The Colorado Historical Society responded by letter of April 11, 2001. The <br />response was no objection as areas impacted had already been disturbed. A copy of this letter <br />Rule 2.07.3(4)(a): The applicant shall make a full copy ojlzis or her complete application for a <br />permit, permi! revision, technical revision, or perntit rertetval, except for darn arrdlor other <br />irrjormation if it is determined by the Division to be confidential according to 2.07.5, available <br />for the public to inspect and copy. This shall be done by filing a copy of the application <br />submitted to the Divisimt with the recorder at the courthouse of the county where the mining is <br />proposed to occur, or another equivalent public office if it is deternined that that office wilt be <br />Wrote accessible to local residents than the county courthouse. <br />The applicant is not required to certify compliance to the Division. The public notice published <br />by the applicant indicted that the application could be viewed at the Garfield County Clerk and <br />Recorder's office, Garfield County Court House, 109 8'h Street, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 <br />The application was found on file on June 20, 2001 (coal mine inspection by the Division). <br />Rule 2.07.3(4)(b): The applicant stroll file the copy of the complete application less cortfidentia! <br />matters, by the first date of newspaper advertisement of the application.
