<br />17. On May 19, 1995, another inspection of <br />was conducted. Present for this inspection were <br />DMG, Mike Rosenthal of OSM, and Dr. Jesse Craft, <br />expert from OSM's Eastern Support Center. Also <br />Ralph Lopez and Larry Bennett of Basin Resources <br />Gerity, an engineer hired by the Tatums. In a memorandum dated May 24, 1995, DMG employ=_e Jim <br />Pendleton provided his comments and observations concerning the <br />May 19, 1995, inspection of the Tatum property. On page two of <br />his memorandum, Mr. Pendleton discusses old photographs of the <br />Tatum house that indicate, in Mr. Pendleton's opinion, that the <br />rain water drainage system of the house was improperly designed <br />and did not work correctly. Mr. Pendleton also asserts, on page <br />three of his memorandum, that Dr. Jesse Craft concluded, after <br />the inspection, that subsidence was not the cause of the damage <br />to the Tatum house. See AR II-13. <br />19. In a memorandum dated June 2, 1945, DMG emplo}'ee Jim <br />Pendleton provided his comments on a report on the Tatum property <br />written by John D, Reins on May 23, 1995. Mr. Reins was an <br />expert hired by the Tatums.
